AuraTracker Privacy Policy

Overview
AuraTracker is designed to keep your health information under your control. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
What We Collect
AuraTracker only collects the information you choose to enter: episode records (date and time, aura severity, stress and hunger levels, symptom tags, and any notes you write), and medication records (names, doses, times, and half-life values). If you use the camera scanner to digitize a handwritten diary page, the photo is processed on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition and is never saved, stored, or uploaded — only the recognized text is kept, and only after you review and save it.
Where Your Data Lives
All of your data is stored locally on your device. If iCloud sync is available and enabled, your data may also be stored in your own private iCloud account so it can appear on your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID. This data lives in your personal iCloud container — the developer of AuraTracker does not have access to it and does not operate any server that receives it.
Data You Choose to Share
AuraTracker includes optional export features: a JSON backup you can save or send anywhere you choose, and PDF or plain-text reports you can share with your neurologist or an AI assistant. Anything you export is under your control once it leaves the app — AuraTracker does not send this data anywhere on its own.
In-App Purchases
AuraTracker offers optional tips to support development, processed entirely through Apple's App Store. AuraTracker does not see or store your payment details.
Notifications
Medication reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification system. No reminder data leaves your device.
Third Parties
AuraTracker does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking software, and does not sell or share your data with third parties.
Your Choices
You can delete all of your data at any time from Settings → Data → Delete All Data. Uninstalling the app removes its local data; any iCloud-synced copy is controlled through your device's iCloud settings.
Children's Privacy
AuraTracker is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the date above will change, and material changes will be noted in the app.
